THE JOINING PROCESS

Bronze Butterflies applications open whenever we are ready to add a new flutter; usually every 3-6 weeks. If you wish to join BB, follow the steps described below. We recommend joining our Open Server on Discord before applying in order to get notified when applications open, ask questions, and get more information.

We are looking for mature members who are passionate about dressage and excited to be part of our family! We accept all levels of dressage experience and welcome you no matter your appearance, LGBTQIA+ identity, neurodivergence, disability, disorder, medical condition, or any other characteristic - BB is a home for everyone. We can't wait to share laughs, competitions, memories, and simplified dressage with you!

0) REQUIREMENTS

Level 18+; also preferable to also have all areas unlocked
Age 13+
Have discord
Be in our open discord server
Be able to get one of the club horses, maxed, and the uniform within 2 weeks of joining
You will eventually be required to purchase BOTH club horses, and also keep them fully happy at all times.
You must experience little to no lag the majority of the time you play
Able & willing to move to different servers within NA whenever BB does
Lifetime Star Rider
You cannot be in any other dressage clubs while in BB, including on alt accounts and in different regions. Being in ONE dressage team is fine, as long as you do not own it, you communicate with the HRs, and you prioritize BB when performing in competitions and when attending BB activities that conflict with the schedule of your team.

1) APPLY

If you meet all the requirements, you will be able to apply; simply fill out the form linked at the bottom of this box. Do so thoroughly, especially on the long response questions, for a higher chance of acceptance! Be honest, show us your personality, and be sure to answer all parts of all questions.

2) VOICE INTERVIEW

You will be messaged the day after applications close if you have made it into the interview stage.

The interview is a short 10-20 minute voice call through Discord with you, the interviewee, and 1-2 BB high ranks (HRs). You will be required to speak off-mute to answer the interview questions. We do this to ensure that all members are safe in a community of their peers. It also allows us to get a better feel for every member's personality so that we can have a close-knit family environment! If you make it into the club after your interview, you will never be asked to unmute yourself if you don't want to.

You will be asked a few club requirement questions, but the majority of the time will be spent simply getting to know you!

3) TRIAL PERIOD

Once you make it to the trial period, you will be known as a Butterfly!

The trial period lasts for two weeks. During that time you will be grouped with the other beginner members to learn the SDM's beginner curriculum. You'll also be allowed (and encouraged!) to participate in full-group practices and events and get to know the entire club.

At the end of the trial period, you will either graduate to an official member of BB, known as a Monarch, or be kicked from the club. Kicks are unlikely due to our thorough application and interview, but it is a possibility nonetheless.

4) REAPPLICATION

All applicants, interviewees, butterflies, and monarchs are able to re-apply to BB as many times as they like. There is no official limit to the amount of times someone may rejoin or re-apply. However, if we have issues with select individuals, they may be told that BB is no longer an option for them in the future.

If you want to re-apply, you must wait to do so until the next round of applications. That is, you may only submit one application per period. If you want to update an answer in your application, DM Light (the BB owner) on Discord at queen.light.
